BARRAFRANCA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the celebration of the carnival; the feast of St. Joseph, in March; the rites of Holy Week; the feast of Our Lady of the Star; livestock fairs, crafts and agriculture in May.
The patron saint, St. Alexander, is celebrated on May 3rd.
CALASCIBETTA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the evocative rites of Holy Week; the cattle fair in August and September and the festival “Buonriposo” in September.
The patron saint, St. Peter in Chains, is celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
CERAMI
Among the most important and recurring events there are the feast of St. Michael and the feast of the meeting in May; the feast of St. Anthony in July; the cattle fair, the feasts of Our Lady of Carmine and St. Sebastian in August; the feast of Our Lady of Lavina in September.
The patron saint, St. Ambrose, is celebrated on December 7th.
ENNA
Among the most important, and recurring, events there are the rites of the Holy Week. The feast of Our Lady of the Calderai and the feast of SS. Crucifix from Pergusa, in May. The feast of Our Lady of Valverde, in August. The celebrations of the Exaltation of the Cross, and the feast of Our Lady of the Olive in November.
The patron saint, Maria SS. Of the Visitation, is celebrated on July 2nd.
GAGLIANO CASTELFERRATO
Among the most important and recurring events there are the cattle fair in August and October, and various festivals (mustard, the mutton, pork, Colt, honey and of cheese products).
The patron saint, St. Cataldo, is celebrated on August 31st.
LEONFORTE
Among the most important and recurring events there are the evocative rites of the Holy Week; the feast of St. Joseph in March; the fair, in June; the event “Ferragosto of Leonforte”; the literary prize “City of Leonforte”, in September, and the festival of peach between September and October.
The patron saint, Our Lady of Carmelo, is celebrated on August 16th.
NISSORIA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the evocative rites of the Holy Week; the General Fair and the food and wine event, with the exposure of wheat, grapes, olives and fruit in May, and the fair of August.
The patron, St. Joseph, is celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
PIAZZA ARMERINA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the fair in May; the rural party “Zazza vecchi”, on May 3rd, with the historical commemoration of the discovery of the banner of Our Lady of the Victories. The Palio of the Normans, in August, with the historical commemoration of the conquest of the city by the Count Roger the Norman and the general fair in September.
The patron saint, Mary of the Victories, is celebrated on August 15th.
PIETRAPERZIA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the feast of St. Joseph, in March; the evocative rites of the Holy Week, with the representation of “Lu signori di li fasci” and “the meeting”, and the general fair in October.
The patron saint, St. Rocco, is celebrated on August 16th.
REGALBUTO
Among the most important and recurring events there are the carnival and the livestock fair in August.
The patron saint, St. Vito, is celebrated on August 11th.
SANTA CATERINA VILLARMOSA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the generic fair in May; the merchandise trade in August and the livestock fair in September.
The patron saint, St. Catherine from Alexandria, is celebrated on September 25th.
TROINA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the rites of the Holy Week; the festival of “Vastedda cu sammuccu” in May; the feast of Corpus Christi and the general fair in June; the feast of Our Lady of the Assumption in August.
The patron, St. Sylvester, is celebrated on the first Sunday of June.
VILLAROSA
Among the most important and recurring events there are the evocative rites of the Holy Week. The feast of St. Joseph, in March. The feast of St. Calogero, in June. The party of emigrants, in July. The cattle fair in August and September. The rural party of the Madonna of the Chain in September. The Feast of St. Barbara and the feast of St. Lucia in December.
The patron saint, St. James, is celebrated on August 10th.
